August Prayer Guide
Isa 35:5-7
5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened,
And the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.
6 Then the lame shall leap like a deer,
And the tongue of the dumb sing.
For waters shall burst forth in the wilderness,
And streams in the desert.
7 The parched ground shall become a pool,
And the thirsty land springs of water;
In the habitation of jackals, where each lay,
There shall be grass with reeds and rushes.
Praise God for the outpouring of his Glory releasing the miraculous and healings in the Valley and in our nation! God impressed on me today that this level of Glory and the miraculous is upon us and all we have to do is lay hold of it by faith! Praise God – these are the times of the ‘Greater Glory’, God is preparing his bride. Please pray that all the Leaders, Churches and Christians will reach out for their inheritance,
Prayer Focus – Education – one of the mind-moulders of our society
“Go into the world uncorrupted, a breath of fresh air in this squalid and polluted world. Provide people with a glimpse of good living and of the living God.” Phil. 2:15 Message Bible
Remember teenagers who will receive important exam results at this time and ask god to give wisdom to those who are unsure what their next step should be. Pray that many in this age group will be inspired to serve and bring transformation to our society; that it would become more committed to values of truth, purity and love.
Pray for all the staff in the schools that they will have a good break and come back next term with a fresh vision to mould pliable minds in positive pure ways.
Pray for students as they commence a new school year that they will happily settle in to their new classes and schools and that it will be a positive change in their education programme.
Pray for Christian School staff, governors, advisors and those who are invited to lead assemblies, contribute lessons, engage in pastoral care and Christian activities. Ask God to help them live out their faith and demonstrate the love of Christ in all they do.
